The AMD RDNA™ 2 graphics architecture brings support for DirectX® 12 Ultimate and several new features for use by game developers.

Sampler Feedback and Mesh Shaders are two of these new features, and allow for innovation in how texture and geometry data can be processed by the GPU.

Engineer Colin Riley provides a short description of both features, as well as important performance guidelines that graphics developers should consider when using AMD RDNA™ 2-based GPUs.
