RDTS

The latest version of Radeon™ Developer Tool Suite (RDTS) is now available. It’s full of brand-new features and updates, including support for the recently released Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs. We’ve also got an update on GPU Performance API (GPUPerfAPI) as well.

RDTS is provided as a convenient package containing of all of the Radeon developer tools in one place:

  • Radeon GPU Profiler (RGP)
  • Radeon GPU Analyzer (RGA)
  • Radeon Memory Visualizer (RMV)
  • Radeon Raytracing Analyzer (RRA)
  • Radeon Developer Panel (RDP)

Following this theme, we’ve conveniently packaged the high-level details of these updates all in one place for you here in this post!

Radeon Raytracing Analyzer (RRA) v1.1

Our new-this-year Radeon Raytracing Analyzer adds additional camera modes and support for rebraided instances and split triangles.

We cover these updates in the blog post linked below:

Radeon GPU Profiler (RGP) v1.14

Our updates to RGP include new features and updates to support HIP applications. All features in RGP that previously supported OpenCL™ applications can now also support HIP.

The blog post below has all the details:

Radeon Memory Visualizer (RMV) v1.5

We’ve made some small changes to RMV in this update. These include a couple of bug fixes and reworking some of the navigation hotkeys so they don’t conflict with the adrenaline driver hotkeys. We’ve also added navigation hotkeys for other panes that were missing hotkeys in previous versions.

Radeon GPU Analyzer (RGA) v2.7

We’ve made quite a few updates to RGA. You can find out more on our RGA product page, but the highlights include:

  • Compile and analyze shaders and kernels for the RDNA™ 3 architecture (gfx1100).
  • Jump to areas in your shaders and kernels which have maximum VGPR pressure.
  • DirectX® 11 mode (-s dx11) is now an offline mode.
